My Struggles Before Getting First Order On Fiverr.
I faced a financial crisis early in my life and had no choice but to find a way to earn some pocket money. I started with Fiverr, diving into logo design gigs without understanding keywords, SEO, or client attraction strategies.
I made profiles over and over again and learned new skills but did not get any orders. I worked on digital marketing, graphic designing, and Web designing skills on the second profile. But once again I failed to get orders.
To beat this failure with a new skill, I stepped into the world of content writing, completed a 2-month online course, and spent 3 months getting experience in it, such as writing multiple articles and blog posts to create a rock-solid portfolio, but the things that were slightly dope such as SEO-friendly content ( Such as primary keyword in the title, short URL, main keyword in the first paragraph, keyword tags for the image, Meta description and so on ) No AI-generated content, Complete plagiarism free content, in addition to how to pitch a client, ranking your gig, SEO for fig, visual graphics and what not…
So, who is here to give up? Well! I am not. I tried again. I signed up on Fiverr and did my gig about “SEO blogs and articles”. I optimized the gig’s description and images. But this time things weren’t the same, and I got my first order😍. Now I am on a mission to get you your first order too.
Here are the new cool 5 tips that I did to get my first order.
1. Visual is Everything
When you hear “visual,” you should think of your gig image. A professional and appealing gig image is crucial. Focus on showcasing your main offer, use cool fonts to describe what you’re selling, and keep it simple. For example, if you’re offering logo design, your image should highlight that in a clear, engaging way.
This is the most needed tip to get your first order on Fiverr.
2. Keyword Changes Game
Start by searching for the services you offer on Fiverr. Look for keywords with low competition. If you find a keyword with fewer services listed, you’re on the right track. This approach helps you target a niche where you have a better chance of standing out.
See there are 37,961 services available on this keyword. Now if we dig further…
Can’t you see anon? You are on the go to create a gig on that keyword.
Just 700 services are available.

3. Description = Sales
One of my biggest regrets was copying other people’s descriptions and making grammar mistakes. Craft your own unique description by addressing these key points:
- Why Me? – Explain why you’re the best choice for this job.
- Your Services – Clearly outline what you offer.
- What Will You Get? – Detail the benefits and deliverables.
Here’s a sample description that I used:

4. Being Active Means Winning
I discovered that staying online helps your gig rank better for specific keywords. So, I started staying online. I used to open my Fiverr dashboard in a separate Chrome tab and left it for hours. I did this for 6 days, and then….. I got an order of $5. Hey! Don’t make fun of me just don’t 😆. I will be a 3 figure guy very soon…
Stay online as much as you can! This will help your gig rank on top and get impressions, clicks, and then orders. This is the one thing that most people don’t tell, but it works for everyone including myself. I had optimized keywords, descriptions, and tags. But staying online gets me an order.
5) Gig Image, Pricing, and Gig Tags:
Of course, it’s a fun thing that we mostly ignore things that don’t seem important but in actually these are the things we have to care about most.

I will ask you a question.
Have you Optimized your gig image?
I know your answer: What is that?

Pricing:
In the beginning, everyone sells for low, I know my $4 is worth nothing but still, this is the dawn of a new inception.
So, keep your prices low.
Waiting to watch each other adding $100 per gig price😋.

I’m monitoring this too. Make sure to add high-demanding and relative gig keyword tags while uploading your gig.
